About

Clarity, not confusion

Service dog and support animal rules are scattered across federal law, fifty states, thirteen provinces and a handful of transport regulators. Most people who need the answers are dealing with a landlord or a gate agent at the same time. ServiceDogKit exists to give handlers one place that explains the rules plainly and the paperwork that actually helps.

Honest about what paper can do

There is no national registry for service animals or ESAs in either country, and we don't pretend to be one. We tell you what each document is for, what a landlord or airline can ask, and where your rights really come from.

Built for both countries

Most resources stop at the US border. We cover the ADA, Fair Housing Act and airline rules alongside Canada's provincial human rights codes, the three provinces that certify dogs, and the federal transport regulations.

Private by design

Your card is built in your browser. We never see your animal's photo or your card details, and we don't ask for your diagnosis — ever.

What we don't do

We don't employ clinicians or sell letters. We don't sell vests or accessories. We don't promise access anywhere. What we sell is a well-made identification card, an accurate guide and templates that save you an afternoon of research — and we keep them updated.

Who's behind it

ServiceDogKit is run by ServiceDogKit in Canada. Questions and corrections are welcome at support@servicedogcertificate.net; if you spot a rule we've got wrong, we'll fix it and credit you if you like.
