Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • At checkout (via Stripe): name, email, billing address, country and state/province, payment method details (held by Stripe, not us), amount, and the answers you give on the order page (country, region, animal type, the landing page you arrived from, and your acknowledgement of the disclosures with a timestamp and IP address). We keep the acknowledgement as a record that you were informed.
  • In the card builder: nothing. The name, animal details and photo you enter are processed only in your browser and are never transmitted to us.
  • Site analytics and advertising: if enabled, Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking set cookies and collect usage data under Google's policies. You can block these with browser settings or an ad blocker; the site works without them.
  • Email: anything you send to support@servicedogcertificate.net.

Health information

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, any diagnosis or medical information. The "animal type" you select at checkout is used only to tailor the kit and is not a health record. If you email us medical details we will delete them once your request is handled.

How we use it

To deliver the Kit, process payments and refunds, keep records required by law (tax, fraud prevention, evidence of disclosure), respond to you, and measure which landing pages work. We do not sell personal information. We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.

Who we share it with

Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Google (analytics/ads, if enabled), and our email provider. Each acts under its own privacy terms. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Retention

Transaction records: 7 years (tax). Disclosure acknowledgements: 7 years. Support email: 2 years. Analytics: per Google's retention settings (default 14 months).

Your rights

Canada (PIPEDA and provincial laws): you may request access to or correction of your personal information, or withdraw consent subject to legal limits, by emailing support@servicedogcertificate.net. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. United States: residents of states with consumer privacy laws may request access, deletion or correction, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising; email us to exercise rights. We respond within 30 days.

Cross-border transfers

Our providers store data in the United States and Canada. By using the site you consent to this transfer.

Security

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe over encrypted connections. We hold no card data. Our site is served over HTTPS.

Children

The site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
